Medbill is one of the major US-based firms dealing with DME billing. It is hiring a Full Stack Developer on contract. This engagement will be about remote collaboration for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining various applications with Medbill’s in-house development team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the Medbill application suite.
- Deliver high-quality software solutions using modern technologies such as C#, .NET, Python (optional), and React with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Analyze client requirements—both internal and external—and translate them into technical specifications and optimized business processes.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and continuous improvement of MedBill’s software solutions.
- Adhere to and help refine best practices in software development while meeting tight deadlines.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Full-Stack Development experience in Web Applications/Web Development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: C# or Java.
- Front-end expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript with CSS/SCSS.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks/libraries: .NET or .NET Core and React (preferred), Vue, or Angular.
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Entity Framework preferred).
- Strong SQL writing skills, preferably using PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git (preferred), Microsoft TFS, or SVN.
- Solid grasp of programming principles and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to write production-ready, high-quality code with frequent deployments.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like XUnit.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure Pipelines (preferred), Bamboo, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft ADO or Jira.
- Experience working with Azure and Windows development environments.
- Proficiency in database management tools such as Azure Data Studio, PGAdmin, or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Knowledge of stored procedure development.
- Exposure to tools and technologies like Formic, Azure Functions, LINQ, and Cypress.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

Monthly Pay: Salary Range: Ksh: 180,000 – Ksh:300,000 per month
